Who are the APCCB?
The Associated Protestant Churches Chaplaincy Board (APCCB) was established in 1942 as the United Churches Chaplaincy Board and has been faithfully providing Chaplains to the ADF for over 80 years. Seven unique denominational groups work together with a shared vision: to provide dedicated and effective chaplains to the Australian Defence Force.
Since its inception, the APCCB has played a pivotal role in ensuring that spiritual care and guidance are accessible to all service members, fostering resilience and moral support across Defence.
The APCCB currently have 115 Chaplains working across all three services in a mixture of full time and part time roles.
With a rich history rooted in collaboration and faith, the APCCB stands as a testament to the power of unity in diversity. Our board shares a collective commitment to nurturing the spiritual well-being of those who protect our nation, drawing from a wealth of traditions and experiences to enrich the lives of our service members.
